Sorenson Media Spreads Holiday Cheer

During the bustling and busy holiday season, we sometimes miss opportunities to truly share the holiday joy. This year, Sorenson Media employees worked to change that. The Cardiff and Salt Lake City offices each selected a charity to help spread the holiday cheer.

The Salt Lake City office adopted two struggling families through The Salvation Army. The families provided Christmas lists that included toys, clothes, household appliances, and even beds. Employees were asked to donate any items or cash they could while Sorenson Media matched the total amount donated. Presents were wrapped by employees at the office and a small group gave the gifts to the families at The Salvation Army home-base in Salt Lake City.

The Cardiff office worked with the Save the Children Foundation by participating in the organizations’ famous Christmas Jumper Day at the office. Employees, friends, and families were asked to wear a Christmas sweater on December 16 to encourage everyone to spread the holiday joy and donate at least £2 for children around the world.

Overall, Sorenson Media raised approximately $4,000. Our President & CEO, Marcus Liassides shared thoughts felt across the organization, “I am super proud of our Sorenson family and the generosity and support shown to these families. I am honored to be in association with each of them.”
